Chairman Royce serves California's 39th Congressional District, which encompasses parts of Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, which oversees policy on Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and the South Caucasus region.

Chairman Royce will brief attendees on issues of priority concern to the Armenian American community, including:

• Azerbaijan’s recent attacks upon Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia
• U.S. foreign assistance to approximately 20,000 Syrian Armenian refugees living in Armenia
• Fiscal Year 2017 aid package
• Anti-Armenian sentiment and actions in Turkey
